On behalf of the Host Organizing Committee, I am honored to welcome you to the WONCA Asia Pacific Regional Conference 2026, to be held in the heart of Western Visayas—Iloilo City, Philippines.
After 15 years, the Philippines once again takes pride in hosting this significant regional gathering—made even more meaningful as we celebrate the 65th Anniversary of the Philippine Academy of Family Physicians (PAFP).
Our theme,
"Family Physicians Gifted to Give: Hearts that Care for Persons, Family and Community,"
reflects the deep calling of our profession: to serve with generosity, compassion, and a steadfast commitment to holistic care. It honors our roots while embracing the future of family medicine as a cornerstone of people-centered, primary health care.
Expect a thoughtfully designed scientific program that showcases global and regional best practices, innovations, and collaborative solutions in family medicine. From plenaries to skill-based workshops, and opportunities to engage with WONCA’s working groups and special interest groups, APRC 2026 will be a platform for inspiration, exchange, and growth.
