Join us for the WONCA-APR 2026 Gala Night!

Inspired by the Ilustrado - the enlightened Filipino intellectuals of the late 19th century - the Gala Night honors a generation that bridged cultures, advanced reform, and shaped a national identity grounded in intellect, compassion, and civic responsibility.

Set within the stately elegance of Nelly's Garden in Jaro, Iloilo City, the evening invites delegates into a world where Filipino and Spanish influences converge in timeless sophistication.

The program features:

  • Performances of Filipino folk music and dance
  • A thoughtfully curated dining experience
  • A Philippine textile presentation showcasing the artistry and cultural narratives of indigenous weaves
  • Live musical performances in an atmosphere of heirloom-inspired refinement

Much like the llustrados of the past, today's family physicians serve as bridge-builders — connecting communities, advancing equity, and shaping systems of care with wisdom and humanity. This evening celebrates that shared spirit of enlightened leadership across the Asia Pacific.

More than a gala, it is a gathering of minds and cultures - woven together in heritage, purpose and partnership.

We warmly invite you to join us in celebrating the evening. Mark your calendars for March 26, 2026, 6 pm onwards at Nelly’s Garden, Jaro, Iloilo City. Celebrate in style—come dressed in cultural formal wear, your traditional or national costume, or elegant semi-formal attire.

Tickets are priced at 150 USD.

An evening of heritage. An exchange of cultures. A fellowship of leaders. It’s sure to be the social highlight of the conference!
